On May 23, CCN had their end of the year Senior Dinner. An evening at City Tavern to celebrate the seniors achievements and contributions to CCN. With delicious food and speech from every senior about their favorite things about being a part of the organization and what they plan to do after high school. The moment was celebrating the seniors but also marked the moment to hand off CCN to the future of the organization.
As we finished eating, our new President and Vice President for the next school year called each senior one by one, saying pieces about them about their visions for the future of CCN. Then presenting them orange cords for graduation as the current officers were given stools also. As emotions were filled with sadness to see the seniors leave, it was also full of joy to see what they will do with their futures.
